I lay on the floor
it stares down at me
from the bowl

I have had enough
of its insults.

It mocked me
with its simplicity
taking pride in its nature
its symmetry
its serenity of black souls
in a white heart
within an emerald armour

Even bruised it shone

And it would cut
cut so completely
no blood, no pain

I have had enough
I swallow it whole and wait
